Nze Chidi Duru refutes malicious reports that he was arrested for Armed Robbery
Nze Chidi Duru

The founder and promoter of First Guarantee Pension Limited (FGPL), one of the Pension Fund Administrators (PFA) licensed under the Pension Reform Act of 2004, Nze Chidi Duru, has decried the sponsored story by persons of interest making the rounds that he was arrested for armed Robbery.
A statement released by the Nze Chidi Family, stated that  “The attention of the Duru family has been drawn to the false and malicious information currently circulating to the effect that our son and brother, Nze Chidi Duru was purportedly arrested for armed robbery.
We wish to state without equivocation that this accusation is an outright lie which was fabricated to tarnish his image.
It is the work of his detractors who are bent on forcefully seizing First Guarantee Pensions Limited, a company which Nze Chidi Duru founded.
This most recent trumped up accusation of armed robbery is the latest desperate effort by an errant regulator and their cohorts to undermine the enforcement of valid court judgement and specific directives of the Attorney General of the Federation.
We consider this development as an act of extreme provocation but remain confident in and faithful in our belief that darkness cannot triumph over light.
Our lawyers are already challenging this injustice and misuse of state power while continuing to seek redress through the appropriate institutions of the Nigerian State.
