A 71-year-old great-grandmother has been refused permission by a Swiss court to marry a toyboy lover 50 years her junior who she met on the internet.
The pensioner insisted she loved the 21-year-old Tunisian and claimed they had shared interests of 'rap music and country walks'.
He told officials the 50-year age gap 'didn't pose any problems' for him because he didn't want to have children.
But the court in Vaud ruled that the marriage would be a sham and the man was using 'emotional fraud with the aim of migration' to Switzerland.
The lovestruck Granny told 20 Minutes newspaper she met the young man in an internet chatroom when he was just 18.
Then after a three-year online relationship, she flew to Tunisia last August to meet him.
Five days later they lodged a request to marry at the Swiss Embassy in Tunis.
The retired secretary told the paper: "We recognised each other immediately when I met him at the airport. But he didn't kiss me because that's not allowed there.
"He took me to a house 250km from Tunis, where his family live selling goats and sheep.
"He didn't want me to leave, and I didn't want to go back to Switzerland.
"He called me 'his life'. I can't live without him. We both like rap and walks in the countryside. We have the same interests. I want to marry him."
The fiance speaking from Tunisia added after the court ruling: "I am very disappointed.
"The age gap is not a problem for me because I don't want to have children. I love her and I want to live with her.
"I introduced her to my family and my sister gave her a Koran."
